Limerston Capital-backed HR services group AdviserPlus today announced it has acquired Working Transitions, a specialist in organisational change, career transition and tailored coaching solutions. The new deal adds further HR services capabilities to AdviserPlus, as part of a vision to create the UK’s leading data and technology-enabled HR services group.

Working Transitions is a leading provider of organisational change services to clients across a broad range of industries and sectors, including globally recognised brands and FTSE 100 organisations in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail and Legal, as well as large charitable organisations. It is also a longstanding partner to many major UK government departments.

Founded in 1993, the expert team has decades of success supporting organisations and individuals through the challenges and opportunities of workplace change. Tailored solutions are delivered via a range of technology-enabled and face-to-face services including: the proprietary ‘Change Engine’ programme, which offers timely and powerful interventions from the moment organisational change is announced; ‘ARC’, the market-defining executive outplacement programme; and the world-class ‘PowerMyCareer’ portal available in multiple languages.

The deal builds on AdviserPlus’ acquisition of HR platform implementation experts, Succeed in October 2018 and a UK partnership with global HR business analytics specialists HCMI. This growth is coupled to the existing capability of AdviserPlus, which employs more than 300 HR specialists across two offices in Liverpool and Yorkshire.

With Working Transitions, the expanded group will now provide HR solutions across the entire HR and people services operating model, from recruitment, onboarding, career development, transition support, leadership and specialist coaching, retention and wellbeing, all the way through to outplacement services.

Nick Bradley, CEO at AdviserPlus said: “I’m delighted to welcome the fantastic team and customers at Working Transitions into the AdviserPlus group of companies. Both businesses are closely aligned in their values and professional approach to supporting organisations, their managers and their people through a range of matters, to improve organisational performance. Through our recent growth we have brought together businesses that either enhance our existing services or offer complementary services that will greater benefit our customers.”

Lynne Hardman, CEO at Working Transitions said: “Working Transitions is proud of its 26-year track record of success in the transition sector, delivering innovative specialist solutions for our clients, enabling them to maximise productivity, improve engagement and minimise risk during change and transformation. Our history means we have supported businesses and public sector departments through a range of economic, political and social changes and can apply this huge depth of experience to support our clients.
