Today marks ‘International Non-Binary People’s Day’, an important event held annually in July to promote understanding and appreciation for diverse gender identities. Not only does it aim to unite the Non-Binary community to share stories, and foster education and advocacy, but it allows for those who are not Non-Binary to get involved and learn about how they can support the community.

During this day, individuals who identify as genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, bigender, and gender non-conforming come together to celebrate their unique experiences and identities, increasing visibility and comprehension. It’s crucial for organisation’s to celebrate this important day to raise awareness amongst employees, ensure non-binary colleagues feel empowered and supported, create an inclusive environment, and initiate discussion about gender and the spectrum of identities.
