World Menopause Day, held annually on 18th October, highlights the importance of raising awareness about menopause in the workplace. HR professionals play a crucial role in ensuring employees are supported during this life phase, which impacts 51% of the global population. Building a culture of empathy and understanding is essential for promoting inclusivity.

Businesses have legal and ethical responsibilities to support menopausal employees. Offering appropriate accommodations and encouraging open conversations can reduce workplace stigma and improve inclusivity. This, in turn, boosts employee well-being and productivity.

Menopause can affect personal and professional lives, including partners. Raising awareness, providing training, and encouraging open discussions in the workplace can ensure employees feel comfortable seeking help and support.

For World Menopause Day this year, we’ve put together a collection of resources for you to explore below.
